A Dallas GA Wellness Center Dedicated to Healing + Wellbeing
Everyone associates massage with relaxation and tension relief, perhaps even being emotionally freeing. Massage therapy can certainly be all of these, but massage is first and foremost renowned for its medical benefits. Medical message, in various forms, is geared to rejuvenate the body to help you recover from wounds, ease muscle pain, improve your immunity, and provide other documented medical benefits.
If you’re experiencing pain or suffering a long-term illness, clinical massage will likely help
Please call to discuss how massage can help improve your symptoms.
Massage Alternative offers a range of different types of massage such as deep tissue massage and athletic recovery massage. What makes our approach so strong is the concentration on the medical and scientific components of massage techniques. Clinical massage, or medical massage, in addition to feeling great, concentrates on identifying issues within the body and applying targeted pressure through safe, certified techniques to stimulate muscle repair and proper blood flow. But that’s not all.
Clinical massage works to activate the natural healing mechanisms within the body itself to improve overall wellness and mitigate or prevent injuries and other major health problems. This is a form of natural medicine that continues working past the session’s conclusion.
Massage Alternative’s clinical massage techniques heal the whole body. Our goal every session is to leave you relieved and pave the way for your body to continue healing. To deliver the most effective healing massage, our process focuses on these core points.
We begin through an initial consultation. Symptoms, pain points, sore areas, goals, and injuries are discussed to identify the best techniques. Clinical massage also involves assessing your muscles, circulation, senses, and general health on the spot as well. As your medical massage expert begins his work, more information about your muscles and body structure is gained as well.
Any healing massage you receive at our center will revitalize your senses and refresh your mind! Our experienced, certified massage therapist will apply the appropriate stylistic massage techniques to tight, problem areas in the body. We work around your comfort level and ensure the pressure is not too hard, but precise to encourage recovery and relaxation.
While helping you relax, our medical massage techniques activate the body’s natural healing properties. This is done by stimulating and stretching the muscles, easing tension, removing internal toxins, and relieving stress. The healing massage effects begin in real-time, but also continue after the session. Massage gives your body’s recovery system a reset and accelerates internal recovery. For more serious injuries or chronic conditions, you may need multiple sessions for sustained results. This is something discussed with your massage specialist. You will also receive advice for continual physical improvements going forward. Our goal is to help you heal and prevent further injury.
Medical massage comes in a variety of forms. Massage Alternative specialized in several of these massages including:
